Twenty independent venues will take part in the biggest Abbeydale Road Beer Festival yet when the four-day event returns to Sheffield this summer.
The festival will run from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August, bringing together craft beer, food, live music, art and entertainment across one of the cityβs best-known independent trading districts.
Now in its fifth year, the event has grown from a local beer trail into a major celebration involving 15 Beer Stops and five Wild Card venues along Abbeydale Road.
Organised by Abbeydale Traders Association, the festival will form part of Sheffield Year of Beer 2026, celebrating the pubs, bars, breweries and independent businesses that contribute to the cityβs beer culture.
This yearβs North vs South theme will see every Beer Stop showcase one northern brewery and one southern brewery, giving visitors the chance to compare beers from different parts of the country.
Participating venues include The Broadfield, The Gin Bar, Simz, Two Thirds, Corner, Abbeydale Ballroom, Abbeydale Tap, Over the Yardarm, Coleβs Corner, STYR, Abbeydale Beerworks, Dead Donkey, Rum Keg, Amici & Bici, The Bear, Mavi Ruya, Nether Edge Pizza Co, YAMM, Best Boy Bagels and Gravel Pit.
Visitors completing the festival challenge must collect 15 stamps, including stamps from at least 12 Beer Stops. Up to three Wild Card venues can count towards the total.
Completed stamp cards can be exchanged at Festival HQ in Abbeydale Ballroom for an exclusive limited-edition festival print featuring original artwork by Sheffield artist Mila K.
The first 12 people to complete all 20 venues will receive a signed and framed version of the print.
Mila K has also created the festivalβs 2026 artwork, which will appear across posters, stamp cards, table displays, prints and official T-shirts. She will create a mural live at Bare Alternative during the festival.
Alongside the beer trail, venues will host food, live music, DJs and entertainment throughout the weekend. Events will include activity in the Abbeydale Picture House car park and a special Voodoo Jazz session at Coleβs Corner on Sunday 2 August.

"Abbeydale Road Beer Festival has grown because it belongs to the road. This is not a beer festival that happens in one venue. Abbeydale Road itself becomes the festival.
"People move between pubs, bars, cafΓ©s, restaurants and independent businesses, they discover places they might not have visited before, and that spend stays with local businesses.
"Sheffield has a brilliant beer culture, and Abbeydale Road has one of the strongest independent trading communities in the city. Bringing those two things together during Sheffield Year of Beer feels like the right moment to make this our biggest festival yet."
The festival is free to take part in, although visitors will pay for food and drink at individual venues. Each business will operate its own opening hours during the weekend.
